I think that it is difficult to distinguish what can and can not be thermally decomposed.
It is not that things that can burn can be pyrolyzed, and things that can not burn can not be thermally decomposed. For example, fire-fighting clothing used by firefighters at fire sites is not burned.
However, when put in a pyrolyzer, it becomes ash without trace. Thermal decomposition divides a substance into atoms and molecules, and heat is generated when the molecule is unstable (radical state).
Basically, any organic matter can be decomposed.
